Diet Pills cause blood pressure to drop?

Jennifer April 2nd, 2010

I started taking Lida Daidaihua slimming capsules today (which claim to be all natural with no side effects). Two of the side effects are dry mouth and insomnia (both of which I don’t mind). I recently got an electric blood pressure monitor and I noticed that compared to yesterday (when I didn’t start the pills yet) my reading was 120/85. Today, however, I took my blood pressure about three times and they were all around 100/70. So, the diastolic pressure significantly dropped. Could it be caused by the pill, and if so, why? Is it dangerous to be at around 100 for diastolic and 65-70 systolic??

Okay it’s all natural so it has no side effects BUT there’s 2 side effects…. sure… makes sense.

And taking your blood pressure 3 times a day is NOT good for you.

    Lida what?

Diet pills don’t work. I hope you can get your money back.

Exercise–eat healthy (no junk food)–that will get you in shape.
