I am in a toss up between a few fat burners. Suggestions?
Jennifer April 24th, 2010
I have been eating a clean diet and doing 20 minutes of HIIT 5 days a week. I eat a clean diet at 2500 calories per day. I am in a toss up on a few fat burners I am looking at taking to shed off those final 10 pounds to get shredded. I am in a toss up bewtween VPX Meltdown, Redline Concentrate, Liquid Clenbutrx, or Gasparis Mitotropin.

I’ve tried all that you mentioned except the meltdown and non of them really helped other than making me jittery and awake. I’d especially recommend you stay away from the redline if you’re health conscious. That one would make me really edgy, although I must say that mixed with vodka its good for going to a club.
From trial after trial using fat burners I realized that you get ridiculously small returns for the cost. From what you’ve posted you’re problem in losing that last 10 lbs lies more in your exercise routine. HIIT is really good increasing your resting metabolic rate which helps burn fat and keep your body from adding fat to storage, but its not the end all solution to weight loss. You still need to include sustained work out.
Every year for biking season I have to work off that "last 10 lbs" that I let build up off-season and have found that a mix of HIIT and sustained running/biking really is the most efficient way to cut down on weight. When non high intensity running, the first 25-35 minutes is fueled by "standby" energy, then after that your body has to start burning its fat reserves to supply energy. This is where you see a lot of weight loss, i.e. cross-country runners are thin as twigs. By putting in a couple 1/1.5 hour endurance runs every week I guarantee you will see way more improvement than any fat burner will give you.
Just remember
HIIT to burn the food you eat and a little fat
Endurance exercise to burn pure fat off
